Originally from Birmingham, AL, with a degree in Fin/Econ. Before pursuing & successfully acquiring my JD/MBA, post-undergrad I worked for 5 years in Sales and as a Paralegal. I currently live in Charlotte, NC as a licensed Attorney with a career in Banking. 
 
 When I was brainstorming for a Podcast concept, my brother suggested a show on Finance  to help keep me on track with my Financial Goals. At the time I was offended lol and I didn't want just a analytical show, so my sister-in-law suggested incorporating music as a driver of how we spend money.  As a lover of music and especially Hip-Hop this concept was perfect. 
 
 Despite being blessed with parents & a brother who are fiscal responsible We are all a work in progress & I challenge you to join us on this journey & not be afraid to do the things you never done to achieve the things you've never had.

I’m a teacher, friend and life of the party. At least that’s what I put in my IG bio. Lol But for real, I’m a lifelong learner, currently in my 4th year as a doctoral student, I teach high school English, and I want to produce something that ultimately feeds back into the communities that I serve. And what better way to do that than talking about financial freedom.

 Business-i$h is personal for me because I see so much of myself in the topics that we discuss. Music, self-care, money, health, rest, relaxation, and FUN. I love to have fun, but I’m also someone who is goal-oriented, but I also kind of procrastinate, but when I get stuff done, the products of my labor are typically pretty dope. So Business-i$h is ME!
